Alzheimer's Tennessee and hosted by Young Professionals Against Alzheimer's YPA is having a fundraiser event featuring all of my body of art about Alzheimer's , which is 24 pieces of art. The event is May 18 at Del Monaco Winery in Baxter TN right near Cookeville, TN from 7:00- 9:00 pm. The evening will feature all the pieces in the exhibition, a short artist talk by me telling of how the idea of the work came about, wine, demonstration in clay by the artist explaining the ceramic process of hand building, music, and light hors d"oeuvres. It will be a fun event and I am happy to team up with AlzTN to bring about more awareness about Alzheimer's disease and the different aspects of the disease beyond just memory loss. Each Sculpture and Painting covers one aspect of this cruel disease, from isolation, to silence, to loss of reality and each story about the concept and elements in the work will be presented with each piece.
